About the Author

American novelist, Louisa May Alcott (November 29, 1832 - March 6, 1888) is most famous for the novel Little Women, a semi-autobiographical tale, set in Alcotts childhood home of Concord, Massachusetts. Throughout her lifetime, Louisa published over 30 books and collections of stories.
