Excerpt from Memorial Addresses on the Life and Character of William A. Duncan (a Representative From Pennsylvania): Delivered in the House of Representatives and in the Senate, Forty-Eighth Congress, Second Session
It is not my purpose now to make any remarks commemorative of the qualities and character of the deceased. Upon-some future occasion that wilt be my sad duty. But on behalf of our delega tion and of the constituents Whom he represented I offer the fol lowing resolutions, and ask their adeption by the House.
