Memories Tucked in My Pocket

As a child, did you ever hold the tail of a cow to keep it from switching across your Dad's face while he was milking? Were you fortunate enough to sit around a wood stove in the wintertime and hear stories told by your parents? Do your recollections include relishing the cramped round galvanized tub for a once a week warm bath? Were you ever blessed with the joy of an unexpected, genuine store-bought gift?
