Paul R. Burden is an assistant dean and professor in the College of Education at Kansas State University. Previously, he was a middle-level science teacher in Buffalo, New York, and later earned his doctoral degree at Ohio State University. His publications include Classroom Management (2013, John Wiley & Sons), Countdown to the First Day of School (2006, National Education Association), and Powerful Classroom Management Strategies (2000, Corwin Press).
