Excerpt from Minutes of the Thirty-Second Session of the North Indiana Annual Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church: Held in Elkhart, Indiana, April 14-20, 1875
A ballot for President of the Conference was then had, which resulted in ninety-three votes for 7m. H. Goode, and thirteen for all others.
On motion, the Conference resolved to elect a Secretary by acclama tion, and M. H. Mendenhall was thus elected, and, on his nomination, E. F. Hasty was elected Assistant Secretary; W. J. Vigus, Enrolling Secretary; D. P. Hartman and C. E. Disbro, Statistical Secretaries; and J. E. Ervin, Railroad Secretary (to sign return passes).
The transfers of J. W. Lowrey, from the South Kansas Conference, and R. H. Sparks, from the Upper Iowa Conference to this Conference, were announced.
