A Mobil Five-Star lodging provides consistently superlative service in an exceptionally distinctive luxury environment, with expanded services. Attention to detail is evident throughout the hotel, resort, or inn, from bed linens to staff uniforms.
A Mobil Four-Star lodging provides a luxury experience with expanded amenities in a distinctive environment. Services may include, but are not limited to, automatic turndown service, 24-hour room service, and valet parking.
A Mobil Three-Star lodging is well appointed, with a full-service restaurant and expanded amenities, such as a fitness center, golf course, tennis courts, 24-hour room service, and optional turndown service.
A Mobil Two-Star lodging is considered a clean, comfortable, and reliable establishment that has expanded amenities, such as a full-service restaurant on the premises.
A Mobil One-Star lodging is a limited-service hotel, motel, or inn that is considered a clean, comfortable, and reliable establishment.
*Specialty Lodgings -Mobil Travel Guide recognizes the unique and individualized nature of both the bed-and-breakfast industry and the guest ranch experience. For that reason, we have chosen to place our stamp of approval on the properties that fall into these two categories in lieu of applying our traditional Mobil Star ratings.
Mobil Star Rating Definitions for Restaurants. All Mobil Star rated dining establishments listed in this book have a full kitchen and offer seating at tables; most offer table service.
A Mobil Five-Star restaurant offers one of few flawless dining experiences in the country. These establishments consistently provide their guests with exceptional food, superlative service, elegant décor, and exquisite presentations of each detail surrounding a meal.
A Mobil Four-Star restaurant provides professional service, distinctive presentations, and wonderful food.
A Mobil Three-Star restaurant has good food, warm and skillful service, and enjoyable décor.
A Mobil Two-Star restaurant serves fresh food in a clean setting with efficient service. Value is considered in this category, as is family friendliness.
A Mobil One-Star restaurant provides a distinctive experience through culinary specialty, local flair, or individual atmosphere.
