Synopsis
A flubbed robbery investigation has left Detective Ann Essex in rehab with a broken hip. Detective William Dancer is on desk duty as a result with not much to do these last few days before Christmas but work out, write, bake cookies, and try to decide on his future career path. A trip north to Buckelsmere from Philadelphia will involve Bill with Ann once again in murder, this time a little too close to home. While Detective Ann Essex and Detective Bill Dancer try to unravel the mystery and solve the murders this holiday season, other ongoing new characters are introduced: daughter Robin, husband John, and good friend Suzanne.
