Synopses & Reviews
The book will gather referred papers concerning the topics of the Strategic Program (SP) of Regione Lombardia "Identification and development of new diagnostic, therapeutic and organizational strategies for patients with Acute Coronary Syndromes (ACS)". The major objective of the SP is the identification of new diagnostic, therapeutic and organizational strategies in order to improve the occurrence of clinical outcomes for ACS patients. The SP is structured into five subprojects, two focused on health, which involve major regional hospitals and the Politecnico of Milano for the preparation of disease databases. The biomolecular and interventional aspects are studied by the other three, aimed at the identification of new biomarkers of disease, with specific reference to genetic and proteomic, and to the development of new imaging techniques for the precocious identification of patients at major risk to develop thrombotic , arrhythmic complications and at risk of poor revascularization.
