Synopsis
Steve Baring, an American living in Vancouver, faced harsh family and financial issues. In the state of depression and on the verge of committing suicide, he stumbled upon his old friend, who offered him a job in Sudan. Having no better alternatives, he accepted it and traveled to Africa.
There, he heard the rumor of a mythical Nubian treasure; the pearls of incredible value, supposedly hidden among the ancient monuments and archeological excavation sites.
In the midst of the search, he saw a beautiful black woman whose blue eyes shook him off the ground. He might've lost everything, but he found another purpose of his life in writing poems about her.
And then ... they met.

There, he hears the whispers of mysterious treasure - the pearls of a Nubian queen Abar; the pearls living quietly in the stories carried by the winds of sand.
A unique encounter brings him someone who makes him question everything in his life. Someone who changes him. Someone who inspires him. Someone for whom he has to make a great risk and take on a dangerous adventure. Even in the present times, the secrets of Ancient Nubia unravel for those brave enough to seek them, but at what cost?
