Synopsis
In these anecdotal essays, America's senior Zen roshi explains the Ten Paramitas, or Transcendental Perfections, two-thousand-year-old ideals that provide positive means of action in the modern world. Aitken teaches the Paramitas as goals, ideals to be practiced along the path of harmony and balance. After each essay, Aitken answers questions most often asked by his students in their course of study.
