Synopsis
S D Gordon was a popular evangelist in the early 1900's. He wrote 25 devotional books most of which have Quiet Talks in the title. Gordon was not a schooled scholar. His knowledge came solely from his Bible. He never called himself a preacher, preferring to consider himself a lecturer. Gordon talks about his search for Jesus and his study of the Bible. At the end of the book there are study notes which make this an excellent choice for a group book club selection.
