`	oedipus000 , November 29, 2013 For too long Christ has been looked up to as a nice heavenly non-political Cherub, who was beaten and crucified by some very unkind and mean people. Organized religion totally neglects who Jesus was and what he stood for,in other words they totally neglect the political essence of who Christ was. As this book shows,Christ was much more than the heavenly looking, asexual, soft non-person person he has typically been portrayed as. It has always appeared to me that some of the powers that be are content with us overlooking the fact that Christ was crucified for Political Reasons, just as much, if not more so for religious reasons. This book helps to bring out that side of the "Jesus" story very well.
