Excerpt from Rules of Practice in Cases Before the United States District Land Offices, the General Land Office, and the Department of the Interior: Approved December 9, 1910
Rule 68. No additional evidence will be admitted or considered by the commissioner unless offered under stipulation of the parties or in support of a mineral application or protest: Provided, however, that the commissioner may order further investigation made or evi dence submitted upon particular matters to be by him specifically designated.
