Staff Pick
Season of Storms was actually published more than a decade after the other novels; and as Sapkowski has promised to never write anything set after the events of Lady of the Lake, serves as a "mid-quel" set between the events of the short stories. However, I would personally recommend reading this as the last Witcher book, being a good way to decompress from the finale. This is definitely worth a read if you have enjoyed this series, and want a further immersion in the lore. Several chapters of this book are also explored in the Dark Horse Comics' Fox Children (Witcher #2). Recommended By Mike H., Powells.com
