Darcy is a beautiful woman with many gifts and she is the only Druid who can unlock the secrets and desires of a Dragon King and it’s up to Warrick to keep her safe in this spectacular paranormal romance.
Darcy sets his soul on fire but protecting her puts himself and his entire race in jeopardy and the reader can’t help but be mesmerized by the hypnotic spell of these strong compelling characters as they fight their attraction while in the middle of a deadly siege. The chemistry between Warrick and Darcy sizzles throughout the story and the sex scenes are steamy but Darcy has some conflicting views on certain subjects that angers the Kings and Warrick doesn’t want a mate so the relationship is a work in progress which adds lots of spice to the story, While the fast paced, smooth flowing plot enthralls readers with lots of suspense, excitement and passion.
Excitement and tension consumes readers throughout this story which never has a dull moment with all the dark fae attacks, betrayals, emotional turmoil and heated passion. Unexpected twists and turns keeps readers guessing and let me tell you there are quite a few that I certainly didn’t see coming and I have to tell you that the tension among the Dragon Kings themselves add to the overall expectation building throughout the story and adds to the pressure of the war with Ulrik. It is easy to become engrossed in the story because of the well written scenes and details that bring the story to life and the intriguing events ensure readers come back for more.
Warning: This story will have you questioning everything you thought you knew about this series and may even have you switching loyalties, so be prepared to get caught up in an action-packed intrigue full of the sexy Dragon Kings because you do not want to miss out on this mind blowing romance.
