Excerpt from Specifications for Electric-Light Plant, Etc: For the Boston City Hospital, January, 1895
Proposals for-an Electric-light Plant, a Telephone System, a System of Electric Bells and Speaking-tubes for the Boston City Hospital, made in the form to be obtained at the office of the City Architect, City Hall, Boston, Mass, will be received at said office until 12 o'clock noon, Jan. 21, 1895, and at that time and place will be publicly opened and read. Plans may be seen and specifications and form of proposal and contract obtained at said office. Said Architect reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, or to accept the proposal he deems best for the City.
