Synopsis
Excerpt from Speech of Charles C. Burleigh: At the Annual Meeting of the Massachusetts A. S. Society, Friday, January 28, 1859
Mr. President, -the subject which is presented to us in this resolution, * I am glad to know, is one claiming no small share of attention at the present time, throughout the Commonwealth; and, indeed, not in this Commonwealth alone.
