About the Author
Margaret T. Monro was an English author of the twentieth century. She originally published her biography on St. Margaret Clitherow: andquot;The Pearl of Yorkandquot;and#160;in 1946 through Burns Oates and Washbourne, London. Upon publication, it received the Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur from Reginald Philips, S.T.L. and E. Morrogh Bernard, respectively. Margaret Monro wrote the saintand#39;s story in a concise and informative manner, detailing St. Margaretand#39;s remarkable life, marriage, motherhood and personality. The work was retypeset and republished in 2003 by TAN.
