Perhaps one of the best things about the Star Wars universe is that there are always more stories to be told. "Star Wars Omnibus: The Other Sons of Tatooine" is one such collection of stories. Luke Skywalker was not the only important Star Wars figure to come from this small sandy planet. This graphic novel will introduce you to some new faces and give you a greater perspective on names you already know, and the stories take place around the same general time as the events in the movie "A New Hope." There is an extensive back story to fellow rebel Biggs Darklighter, a famous rebel pilot you've likely already heard of. Among others, we also meet Lieutenant Janek Sunber, an Imperial officer whose heart is in the right place, and Boshek, a man who wishes he could stay out of the war entirely.
This collection is a wonderful addition to the already extensive Star Wars universe. The stories are engaging, the art work is detailed and descriptive, and the overall effect will keep readers enthralled through the last page and beyond. If you love "Star Wars," you will surely love this graphic novel!
