if you like Sherlock Holmes and books that look at old stories in new ways I recommend A Study in Charlotte. I found this to be a really fun and readable YA series about the teen descendants of Holmes & Watson who find themselves at the same private high school on the East Coast. This book is a fast and easy reading, the characters are interesting and engaging. I picked up the 2nd book (in what is currently a series of 4) as soon as I finished.
