About the Author
Stephen Leacock was an English-born Canadian humorist and award-winning author. In the early part of the twentieth century, he was perhaps the best-known humorist in the English-speaking world. He wrote numerous books on humor and Canadian culture, as well as biographies of Mark Twain and Charles Dickens. He died in 1944 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
