Tales of a Turkey Farmer is a book of over 40 amusing and interesting short stories of the author's early life on a turkey farm. The stories relate a variety of incidents and experiences of a boy growing up on a turkey farm and then choosing turkey farming as his vocation. The author is one of very few people who have been directly involved with the changes, from beginning to present, that have occurred in commercial turkey production. He brings his insight of its early days to the reader in vividly descriptive stories of the common practices, now an almost forgotten part of the past.
