About the Author
JULIET LODGE is Professor of European Studies and EU Politics, and co-Director of the Jean Monnet European Centre of Excellence at the University of Leeds, UK. European Woman of the Year in 1992, she has worked in several universities in the EU and in New Zealand; she has published extensively on the EU, the European Parliament, e-citizens and democratic legitimacy and accountability in the EU.
