Synopses & Reviews
BRICS is a structured economic association of five high-profile emerging market economies: Brazil, Russia, India, China, and now South Africa. Each nation has its own particular strengths along with its own particular weaknesses, but in the case of the BRICS as one economic entity the original purpose of the alliance was that each country's strengths would become stronger and their weaknesses would diminish. Since its inception, the BRICS countries have been the bellwether for the economic future of the emerging economies.
The Future BRICS provides in-depth quantitative and qualitative questions and answers about the future of BRICS as a synergistic economic alliance, measured against the backdrop of the mutual political and economic benefits for each member country, and in relation to the strengths and weaknesses of each country's independent geo-political macroeconomic base. The economic future of these five high-profile emerging economies gives the reader an extensive look into the economic future of the emerging market economies.
The book is a valuable resource for all those interested in the ongoing international debate about the economic future and sustainability of the emerging markets in general.
