Synopsis
Excerpt from The Index, 1918: A Junior Annual of the Massachusetts Agricultural College
To its readers a clear image of the life and tioities of the College and its students. That this mirror should have the clearest of glasses and the smoothest of silver linings, has been our earnest endeavor. But this mirror must have more than physical prop erties. It must reflect those intangible yet powerful factors which contribute tovdard the very atmosphere of the campus; the inspiring personality of the teachers, the Wholesome spirit of an institution dedicated to the enrichment of rural life, and that love and loyalty that all Aggie men hax'e for their Alma Mater. We know our skill unequal to the task of constructing such a mirror. We complete this book, however, satisfied that it contains our best efforts. For the Class of igi8, we present this book to Aggie men and all friends of the College as a mark of the undying fealty and appreciation of its members.
