I felt the author did a fantastic job with the story of Elise. She’s an older woman who has some fairly deep self-issues and she questions whether she can be a help to these younger women when she feels her life is falling apart.
The other was about a single mom who always feels like she’s failing those around her. She has dreams but feels she can’t reach for them because she’s caused too many others to have to give up their dreams.
The whole book is a story of women coming together to support each other and encourage each other to pursue their dreams.
Lindsay Harrel is an author I will go to whenever there’s a new book out. Her stories are rich with deep lessons of what God can and will do in our lives if we trust in Him. Her writing flows so well from the dialogue to the settings. The reader can get captured and taken to a place that is real and relatable.
This book is a sweet tale of family relations, friendships, tender love, heart desires, and a beautiful lesson of how God really does want to take our burdens, our dreams, and bless us more than we could imagine. It’s a story of finding a voice and a purpose.
I highly recommend you read this book! It's a sweet story that will touch your heart!
