Synopsis
Excerpt from The North Carolina Federation of Women's Clubs: 1911-1912
In order to create a greater interest in the history of North Coralina and perpetuate the deeds and memory of the men who served to make her great, every club was asked this year to celebrate North Carolina Day and I feel assured the clubs have responded with enthusiasm.
Another innovation last year was the Fine Arts evening, which afforded such possibilities in developing latent talent that a similar program has been arranged for us in Asheville.
