The stationer of 7uly, 1873, speaking of tke same edition, remarked - As a Book of Reference, it skould be at tbc fingers' ends of all persons engaged in tbc trade. In November, 1868, tbc same excellent montkly journal said, T be Guide' contains muck useful information, and tke general price lists are elaborate and kave evidently been carefully prepared; and tke next edition of 1869, tkey' eulogized as being well adapted to tbc requirements of tin practical man.
