I have to say that on the surface, this book is really enjoyable. I have read several accounts of the Ptolemic family of greek pharoahs, and this might have been the most entertaining. But, despite the comment Thoth, the narrator, makes at the end of this book, it's a little broad. But if you don't try to swim in a puddle, it's a good read. Especially for the beach.
