About the Author
Jake Raj's assignments have taken him to exotic locations around the world and have led to publication in
Life, Esquire, Omni, Travel and Leisure, GEO, Camera 35, and
Readers' Digest, among other magazines. Exhibitions of his work include
Celebration: New York in Color, which has traveled throughout the world, and
Glimpses of America, the first show of American color photography ever to be exhibited in China. His photographs are on permanent display in museums and collections worldwide. His previous Rizzoli titles include
America and Manhattan: An Island in Focus. He lives in New Paltz, New York.
