Excerpt from Vergleichende Darstellung und Beurtheilung der Religionsphilosophie Hegels und Schleiermachers
Die Religion ist nach Hegel, ganz allgemein ausgedruckt, die Beziehung des subjectiven Bewusstseins auf Gott. Da aber Gott ein Geist, ja der wahre Geist ist, so ist sie das Bewusstsein des subjectiven Geistes vom wahrhaften Geiste. Das ist aber nicht das Wesen eines Anderen, sondern sein eigenes Wesen. Die Re ligion ist also das Sich seiner selbst Bewusstwerden des Geistes. Nach dieser Definition behandelt nun Hegel im 1.theile: a. Den Geist berhaupt, die absolute Einheit, Gott; b. Das Subject in seiner Beziehung auf Gott? Die Religion in Gefhl, Vorstellung und Gedanken; c. Die Aufhebung des Gegensatzes zwischen dem Subject und Gott im Cultus.
