Could you describe your latest book, One Hundred Percent Me?
A little girl is used to hearing questions about her looks all the time. "Where are you from?" "What are you?" These questions are a constant reminder from others that she is different. As she embraces her identity and culture, she teaches others that she belongs, that the differences they notice are part of what make her unique, special, and herself....

Review

"Gorgeously illustrated, brilliantly innovative..." The New York Times Book Review

Review

"The very hungry caterpillar literally eats his way through the pages of the book — and right into your child's heart..." Mother's Manual

Review

"...its enduring appeal, according to librarians and children’s-literature experts, can be attributed to its effortless fusion of story and educational concepts, its striking visual style, and the timelessness of both its aesthetic and its content." The Atlantic

Review

"This early work by a premier author marked an exciting breakthrough in the traditional children's book format. Carle uses clever cutout pages to depict a caterpillar eating his way through the calendar week. Caterpillar also brilliantly displays Carle's ability to integrate a concept (days of the week), scientific information (the life cycle of a caterpillar), and an appealing story. (Ages 3-6)" Judith Rovenger, Sesame Street Parents

A classic in board-book format for little hands to explore. A real classic in children's literature, by a legend. This book has been around since I read it to my younger brothers as a child, and now I enjoy sharing it with my own children. Read the full review here: www.ermareads.wordpress.com

A classic; its bright colors grab the attention of any toddler. All 3 of my kids love it. They have so much fun listening to it the first 20 times and recalling it the next 200 they forget they are learning as well. This is a great book for every child and no library can be complete without it.

This book is such a classic, my now 1 year old has always loved it. We used to put his little fingers in the holes (and say chomp chomp) and now he loves to put his fingers in the holes and discover the colorful butterfly at the end!
