One summer's day Lexi Lou and her lovable English Bulldog, Bubba Doo, were together on the front porch. Lexi Lou noticed that Bubba Doo was very quiet and feeling sad. She asked him "Why so blue, Bubba Doo?" Bubba Doo was fascinated by the other dogs in the neighborhood, how they looked, what they could do and all their special talents.

One by one as they passed by the yard, he admired their beauty and unique abilities. He longed to be more like them. It wasn't until later when, one by one, they came back to his yard to visit him, that he discovered something incredible. They all longed to be more like him. He never realized all of his special gifts and became proud of his own individuality. Bubba Doo was no longer blue.
