Synopses & Reviews
This comprehensive and beautifully illustrated handbook was written by Ellsworth Jaeger in 1945. It is dedicated to the spirit of "our ancestral buckskin men", as well as to the native Americans (mostly Iroquois) who taught Jaeger the basic skills of surviving in the woods. Almost half the book consists of full-page illustrations.
