How about Eden-esque? I know there was no cigar involved but that breach of ethics and ultimate transgression (cheating on the Almighty's instruction is definitely frowned upon) put us in the world as we know it today (if you believe the book that was transcribed by illiterate scribes.) No, she di-ent! Oh snap!!! Yes, I did! No lightening here. Betrayal is not pretty - no matter whose "esque" it happens to be! P.S. And I pray, "Dear God, it was just a joke, YOU know how I get!"

I think all three terms are awkward and too limited chronologically. May I suggest "Davidian" in rememberance of the second king of Israel, whose affair with Bathsheba scandalized his nation a couple milenia ago? Also has the bonus effect of linking to a really creepy polygamous cult from the 1980's.

Actually, doug, JFK's affair should be "Roosevelt-esque." My error.

Can JFK's intern affair be "Clinton-esque?" Wouldn't Clinton be "Kennedy-esque?" Since Kennedy did it first, so to speak, doesn't he get the esque-ness? Although if we learned about Clinton's intern affair first, then maybe Kennedy can be Clinton-esque. Oh, the space-time continuum issues are very troubling here.
