There really is nothing like waking to the smell of the printed page hanging delicately on my nose in the morning. Even if they come up with the cuddly version of an e-reader, can it recreate that? And can it recreate the special feeling when you crack open a new book by a beloved writer for the first time? Yes, I'm going to be one of those hold-outs - a crotchety old lady complaining about all the new fangled technology. Meanwhile, once real books have been replaced completely by e-readers, my grandchildren will be selling my paperback library to "collectors" for a small fortune...
