what other kind of books do you have trouble finishing, georgie? because i heard from a reliable source (you) that now you're not finishing the ARC with the back-cover blurb that calls it a cross between Kafka and Wodehouse. i hardly finish anything. we should start a club.

I've also read about half of this one and it is indeed entertaining. I have trouble finishing books like this however. Blink was amusing, but I left it unfinished. And Freakonomics was interesting but so repetitive that i also left it three quarters of the way through.

I don't typically read much non-fiction, but this first paragraph is humorous enough to make me want to find the book and read more.

I would read on. And I did. I'm halfway through it now, and it's terrific... the best book of its kind since BLINK.
