Old boyfriends and girlfriends, ex-spouses, one night stands, former crushes... we all have them and we all have something to say to them. The toxic fusion of bittersweet memories, unforgettable heartache, and saccharine nostalgia that have plagued all of us at some point in our lives have been collected by anonymous writers willing to pen their melancholy away. So many of the stories in Dear Old Love made me feel angry at exes who I don't even know, as well as happiness at others for leaving a partner behind. One contributor managed to hit my old relationship on the head: "Our relationship was like a jam band. It went on far too long and only made sense on drugs. Fun at the time, though." This is a rollicking look at how people can affect others for their entire lives, and it will also force you to take your own sentimental journey.
