McMenamins has a contract with Ticketmaster, and we don't have a choice if we're doing events at the Bagdad Theater. You can purchase tickets at the Crystal Ballroom box office and avoid the Ticketmaster fees. And maybe it wouldn't hurt to let the powers that be at McMenamins know how you feel about their Ticketmaster partnership...

Ticketmaster is highway robbery!!! $8.50 per ticket "convenience charge" plus a service charge?? Can you find a ticket vendor for these things that doesn't rip off your customers? That adds an additional 33% to the price of the ticket - seriously, I feel like my pockets have been picked.
