You can tell right from the sliding dust jacket that this is going to be a unique and interactive experience. Messenger's book invites the reader to imagine a world just slightly tilted from the norm, by pairing highly detailed color drawings with simple questions like, "Imagine a bicycle with square wheels." Then use the multiple lift-the-flaps, pull-out centerfolds, and spinning paper discs to create crazy combinations of animal and people. As if that weren't enough, each page also has mathematical shape puzzles to further challenge your mind.
