Ravishing in Red is a delightful story. Set in Regency London, Audrianna's attempts to clear her father of a horrific crime result in an even worse scandal when she is linked to the nobleman who, she feels, drove her father to suicide. The well-written plot takes the two on an emotional journey as well as the search to find the truth about her father's supposed crime. Hunter's characters are interesting, complex, and realistic. The plotting is consistent and holds the reader's attention throughout the story. However, the most enticing aspect of any Hunter romance novel is her attention to detail and knowledge of the historical period she writes about.
