I watched an episode of "Sewing with Nancy" a couple of years ago and was introduced to Tula Pink's first book,
Quilts from the House of Tula Pink. Her fabrics made me check out the first book, but when this latest book of 100 modern quilt blocks came out, I fell in love with Tula Pink. The blocks are all simple and easy, and they can be made quite quickly. Of course, since the book uses Tula's fabric, they are dreamy looking.
Tula provides clear and concise instructions on cutting fabric for the various blocks and sewing tips to make the blocks come together smoothly. This is a book for anyone who's looking for a more modern approach to quilting and wants more than their grandmother's quilting patterns.
