Crewdson's filmic images strongly reference TV programs such as 'The Twilight Zone' and deal with fantasy and the paranormal in a creepy "your-town-here" American setting. His work is surreal but even more so that he involved the community of small town, Lee, MA. who donated their living rooms, pitched in to help create and even star in the photos.
