It's a very rare thing to find a sci-fi graphic novel that is both fresh and well done. Universal War One is both. It is an amazing story. Everyone I've spoken to about this book is amazed at its depth. It conjures a very believable future mixed with tints of hard science fiction. The characters are very realistic. The art is on point. A very well-written story. Both volumes can stand alone, but together they create one fantastic yarn. I'd recommend this to fans of graphic novels and high science fiction, or anyone else for that matter.
