Emiko Superstar, part of the stellar and unfortunately short-lived Minx line of comics, is the story of shy Emiko, whose summer is shaping up to be endless days of babysitting until she stumbles upon a gathering of people inspired by the Factory days of Andy Warhol. After Emiko discovers a diary full of secrets in the house of her seemingly perfect employer, she adopts a new, performance-art persona, leading to her inclusion in the "superstar" scene. Popularity isn't all it's cracked up to be, however, as Emiko discovers that she must deal with the delicate nuances of her new friendships as well as the moral dilemma of her stolen
