Another great read from a fabulous raconteur. The story of a struggling band with members who have been around the block. Mr Mccammons prose is, as always, flowing. The characters well written with their own haunted pasts. Their music scratching at today's politics and war. Which affects some crazies of society. They are stalked by a misled sniper, determined to finish his mission. Mr Mccammon has written this character extremely well, as we feel for his confused position and the effects war has upon the human psyche. Full of suspense, supernatural, and horror. A well suggested book , must read.
