This is a wonderful book to read slowly. The author paints wonderful pictures with rich language. I became fond of the main character, a woman, and was drawn into her story.

When a friend loaned me this book, I didn't think I would like it much. Ho hum. A story about a guy who dies over and over. But within a few pages, the author changed my mind. :) What sounds like a rather trite story line is anything but. The author adds some new twists to questions that are anything but new, and his writing style is enjoyable. Try this book! You will like it. Really :)

This is a wonderful book--yes--for Buddhists--but non-Buddhists can also benefit. Make sure you have the time to read it slowly. It is not a book to rush through.

If you can only read one novel this year--this is the one you should read. This novel captured and held my attention from page 1 to page 623. At the end, I was only wishing for another 600 pages.

Botany of Desire A Plants Eye View of the World

It's always interesting to view the world from another perspective than that of a human. :) This writer is a good storyteller--funny at times--and at the end of the book I wondered who, on this planet, is really controlling things. :)
