Ender's Game: Ender Wiggin Saga 1
by
Orson Scott Card
Brante

My favorite of all time, the story of Ender Wiggin will appeal to all audiences young and old. Card's writing is masterful and easy to read. I recommend this book to everyone I meet and they all love it. The characters, though geniuses, are incredibly human and by the end of the book, they are as much a part of your family as they are of each other's. A must read for anyone who enjoys science fiction of any kind.

The Fountains Of Paradise
by
Arthur C Clarke

This book is well worth the Hugo and Nebula Awards it received. Once again Mr. Clarke brings intrigue and new ideas to the table as his characters attempt to pull off the greatest engineering project of all time: an elevator into space. The concepts inroduced in this book will excite engineers everywhere and inspire those with any mechanical interests. Another beautiful piece from Clarke.
