This book is okay. While it is fine for children or any die-hard collectors of Sailor Moon products, it is extremely short and focuses only on the first season of the English-language dub. No other versions or seasons are even referred to.

Nora Roberts makes a break from her more traditional romances, creating an enchanting page-turner which can best be described as 'Anne Rice meets Buffy'. Full of vampires and sorcery. this series is probably most suited to adult fantasy readers. This is the third and final book in the series.

Beginners Guide To Scientific Method
by
Stephen S Carey
Angel of Starlight
, January 04, 2008
Having read this book and taken the community college class for which it was written, I can say that the textbook is laughable. Judging by the book's overly complex language and many scientiic inaccuracies, it is clear that Carey is unfamililiar with the simpler textbook langauge prefered by most students. Carey does not even hold a science-related degree and is very ill-suited to be writing a textbook on scientific method.

This is totally, unequivocably, and in all other ways one of the most touching, heart-warming movies which anyone could hope to encounter. Fans of Mitch Albom's classic book, look no further! You WILL be crying tears of joy when you watch this faithful adaptation. Recommended for the whole family, and a perfect movie for the holiday season.

This series is to the sci-fi reader what 'The Sixth Sense' was to 1999 theatre-goers. Full of surprises and the occasional, "Boo!", 'Loop' completes the Ring Trilogy with exceptional flare.

True though it is that Tolkien set the standard for modern fantasy, I have never encountered an author who borrowed so heavily from him as Paolini. Really, it is laughable that the publishers went ahead with this novel. Laughable, and also rather pathetic....

Spiral

The first sequel to the highly-acclaimed 'Ring' novel, 'Spiral' takes the series into more of a sci-fi spin. Pun not intended. Though I personally prefer 'Ring' to 'Spiral', the latter is commonly mentioned on message boards as the most popular book in the series. If you're a sci-fi fan, this is a must-read.

by
John Marsden
Angel of Starlight

The first book that ever made me cry, this is a heartbreaking tale of friendship and betrayal. What ever happens to these two girls, and why do they grow apart? Is it fear? Complete exhaustion? Or is the truth much darker than any can guess? Fans of 'Girl, Interrupted' will simply adore this book, and I do recommend it to any teenage girl who wants a good read.

This story is very different from the popular film, but it is still a respectable work of modern fiction. It is often rather dark, however, and that does include the ending. This is definitely not a book to read to the very small kiddos, but a slightly older set will genuinely appreciate it.

Vampire Princess Miyu Volume 2
by
Angel of Starlight
, December 08, 2007
A 4-episode OVA series based on what is probably Kakinouchi Narumi's most famous manga series, 'Vampire Princess Miyu' is a spectacular work of gothic horror blended with a haunting soundtrack, well-developed plots, and extravangant youma battle sequences. Himiko, a young spiritualist and accomplished witch, encounters the vampire-child Miyu while commissioned to perform a simple exorcism. What follows leads Himiko into the unthinkable as she struggles to understand both herself and the constant battle to win over evil. This anime contains some frightening adult/supernatural themes and should probably not be viewed by very young children. Volume 2 contains the last two episodes of the 4-episode OVA.

Absolutely deplorable. This book repeatedly and intentionally portrays ridiculous stories and hypotheses as scientific fact WITHOUT making reference to the point that they are invented. This book should be much more carefully annotated or, better still , entirely removed from PCC's shelves. Carey should be ashamed of himself.
