i just finished this book yesterday and i must say another absolutely amazing book straight form ellen hopkins. it was perfectly set up to go right along with where crank had left off and springs you right into the sequel of kristinas, "brees", future, or lack there of at the end of the book. i was not disapointed at all, not that i ever thought i would be. this book along with its prequel crank are the most amazing books ive ever read. and i wouldnt want anyone to go without reading these books. i absolutely love ellen hopkins writing and the description to every detail of kristinas addiction. i have experienced this addiction to meth first hand, that is from an outside view, of someone i loved very much. i wached him go through almost everytinhg kristina encountered. the mood changes. the apperance changes. the breaking down. its all so real and hit very very close to home. i would recomend these books to anyone anywhere looking for an amazing read and perfect look into the struggles of a teen in trouble going down the fast lane, the wrong way.

this book was absolutely the best book i have ever read. i have struggled with drugs. kindof still am. and ive had ppl around me, very close to me, one that i was very much in love with fall into the path of "the monster" as the book calls it. this hit very close to home for me, as i could see everything that happened to those ppl close to me was happening right in the book infront of me. the mood changes. the addiction. the breaking down. i read this book once. read it again. and again and again. i never wanted the book to end. because it put somthing in my life that let me know someone else was going through this too. someone else had someone they care about breaking down becuase of meth. it let me understand why everything changed in them and why everything about them was different. i recomend it to everyone i know. i just finished the sequel to crank, glass. it too was amazing. just as amazing as crank. the story continues to follow kristina or "bree" to the depths of jail. im glad i never had to experience that first hand with the ppl i care about. but the book made me feel las if i was there experienceing the whole thing. i relate to kristina, "bree", in so many ways. this book has changed my life. if i should be so bold. it has filled in so many little questions i had when i was going through this from the other side, form an outside view. i wish there would be an endless line of books following kristinas story. but i understand theres not much to write about when a persons in jail. haha. i wish i could thank the writer for writing these amazing books. becuase they truely made my life richer. -nataliee vonne.
